Although the surf town of Dominical is less developed than Tamarindo or Jaco, you’ll still find beauty as the rain forest meets the ocean and a culture of easy going locals. Consider a 2 ½ hour surf trip, just south of Jaco, to Costa Rica’s surf spot - Dominical where you’ll find sandy bottom beach breaks. Experience surfing in front of cabinas or rivermouths. The length of the beach gives surfers enough room to catch waves left and right. Costa Rica Surf Lessons is there initially to push you into your first waves, but then you’ll have to do it on your own. When you’ve learned a few key fundamentals, you will be surfing on your own with the guidance of surf instructors who can provide helpful hints when you can’t seem to figure out what or why you might be doing wrong.
